Kamirell is a world of gods and magical intrigue. Across the five continents, the four mortal races live together. However, all is not peacefully in Kamirell. Massive Empires fight for dominance and for powers far beyond that which mortal currently possess.

There are five continents within Kamirell. Four of them each spawn their own race of mortals, with the fifth being home to the immortal creatures created by the gods to act as caretakers to the world during [[The Age of Beasts]].

[[Delphion]], a continent of jungles and rainforests gave birth to the [[Delphassi]]. [[Draedunn]], a continent centred around a grand desert gifted unto the world, the [[Hamatsii]]. [[Jotdäl]], a continent bitter and cold bore the [[Kallegari]]. Finally, [[The Desolate Continent]], once the home of the [[Human (Kamirell)|Humans]], is now an inhospitable terrain home only to the [[Dendregaar]], who brought this ruin unto the land.

The fifth continent, [[Matrellis]], is the northernmost continent, arctic in its northern reaches, but warmer and more temperate towards its south. Once home to the [[Eldarani]] and the [[Dendregaar]], now only the [[Eldarani]] call this place home.

The four mortal species are the [[Human (Kamirell)|Humans]], [[Hamtsii]], [[Delphassi]] and [[Kallegari]]. The hamatsii are especially adept when in hot, dry climates. The delphassi adapted to hot and humid environments and the kallegari adapted to the harshness of the cold. While humans were more well rounded, not especially adapted to any on environment, but moderately suited to any climate.

There are major populations upon four of the five continents. [[The Desolate Continent]], however, only major population, the [[Dendregaar]], have settled. The continent does have a small number of minor settlements, as well as a handful of prisons established along the coasts, run by foreign nations.

Across the remaining four continents, there are three major empires which sprawl across the planet. These three empires are the [[Rumellion Empire]], the [[Keldaron Empire]] and the [[Kandemir Empire]].

The nation of [[Eldracor]] has a notable population, primarily populated by [[Eldarani]], who have managed to advance technologically far beyond most of the world due to their long lifespans and almost purely peaceful history.

Additionally, while not a massive population, the city-state of [[Palidae]] is a hub of both culture and economy on Kamirell.

Most of the nations in Kamirell are monarchies, a few are constitutional monarchies, and a handful of non-monarchical dictatorships. There are some independent settlements scattered throughout, who don't really associate with a particular government. Most of these are fairly small villages, but there is also a single city-state, [[Palidae]], which is a cultural and economic hub. This city-state is run by a council composed of the heads of each of the Major Guilds in the city.

Another key player in facilitating interactions between nations is the city-state of [[Palidae]]. They facilitate a massive amount of the trade which occurs between different nations, as well as playing a role in the diplomatic discussions between nations in both times of peace and conflict.

[[Haft]] has become renowned for its schools of statesmanship, leading to it being an additional hub for foreign nations to meet in both peace and times of conflict, and serves as a neutral ground.

[[Arynaya]] is the largest shipping hub in Kamirell. Almost every ship trading across different continents stops in at Arynaya at some point.

The first children that the old gods brought into the world were [[Yhton]] and [[Qhixerin]]. These two [[Young Gods]] gods then, with the aid of their parents, brought their siblings into existence. [[Catarae]], the god of creation, and [[Onos]], the god of destruction. Together, these siblings and their parents constructed the world of Kamirell. They then each went about creating their own children, dividing the gods into three families. These three families lived in peace for eons.

However, when the [[Old Gods]] left, the three families grew increasingly antagonistic of one another. The [[Young Gods]], [[Yhton]], [[Qhixerin]], [[Catarae]] and [[Onos]], met in secret to negotiate a peace. Their children, however, whished not to abide by these accords. In response, the young gods created and unleashed hordes of monsters, demons and other beasts upon the land to drive back their own children, ending [[The Age of The Gods]] and bringing forth [[The Age of Beasts]].

Soon after, two species of [[Under Gods]] were born. These species, the [[Eldarani]] and the [[Dendregaar]], were made to serve as custodians unto the word, keeping the beast in check. Throughout the age, the gods continued to experiment with different beasts. The under gods tamed the beasts, and those that could not be tamed were imprisoned. Eventually, this experimentation in creating new beasts lead to the birth of the first mortals. These creatures, while intelligent and resilient of mind, were born into feeble bodies.

The greatest of these new mortals, alongside the Eldarani and the Dendregaar, slays the great beats which stood as threats against them. However, seeing that this was happening from its prison, [[The Great Beast (Kamirell)|The Great Beast]], the most powerful of all the beasts created by the god broke free and unleashed its minions, ravaging the lands. In order to seal it away forever, the Dendregaar bound the blood of their species to the land to ensure the strength of the chains which hold the creature. This lead to the entirety of [[The Desolate Continent]] becoming inhospitable as the land too became drained of its life force.

After this, the mortals moved on, bringing forth [[The Age of Mortals]]. They spread out and settles the lands, forming nations and advancing over the millennia. They learning to tap into the powers of magic to do great wonders and grew to know the terrible powers of war. In time, their origins and the age of beast became nothing more than mere myths and legends to most.

The first children that the old gods brought into the world were [[Yhton]] and [[Qhixerin]]. These two [[Young Gods]] gods then, with the aid of their parents, brought their siblings into existence. [[Catarae]], the god of creation, and [[Onos]], the god of destruction. Together, these siblings and their parents constructed the world of Kamirell. They then each went about creating their own children, dividing the gods into three families. These three families lived in peace for eons.

However, when the [[Old Gods]] left, the three families grew increasingly antagonistic of one another. The [[Young Gods]], [[Yhton]], [[Qhixerin]], [[Catarae]] and [[Onos]], met in secret to negotiate a peace. Their children, however, whished not to abide by these accords. In response, the young gods created and unleashed hordes of monsters, demons and other beasts upon the land to drive back their own children, ending [[The Age of The Gods]] and bringing forth [[The Age of Beasts]].

Soon after, two species of [[Under Gods]] were born. These species, the [[Eldarani]] and the [[Dendregaar]], were made to serve as custodians unto the word, keeping the beast in check. Throughout the age, the gods continued to experiment with different beasts. The under gods tamed the beasts, and those that could not be tamed were imprisoned. Eventually, this experimentation in creating new beasts lead to the birth of the first mortals. These creatures, while intelligent and resilient of mind, were born into feeble bodies.

The greatest of these new mortals, alongside the Eldarani and the Dendregaar, slays the great beats which stood as threats against them. However, seeing that this was happening from its prison, [[The Great Beast (Kamirell)|The Great Beast]], the most powerful of all the beasts created by the god broke free and unleashed its minions, ravaging the lands. In order to seal it away forever, the Dendregaar bound the blood of their species to the land to ensure the strength of the chains which hold the creature. This lead to the entirety of [[The Desolate Continent]] becoming inhospitable as the land too became drained of its life force.

After this, the mortals moved on, bringing forth [[The Age of Mortals]]. They spread out and settles the lands, forming nations and advancing over the millennia. They learning to tap into the powers of magic to do great wonders and grew to know the terrible powers of war. Kamirell is a world of gods and magical intrigue. Across the five continents, the four mortal races live together. However, all is not peacefully in Kamirell. Massive Empires fight for dominance and for powers far beyond that which mortal currently possess.

[[Delphion]], a continent of jungles and rainforests gave birth to the [[Delphassi]]. [[Draedunn]], a continent centred around a grand desert gifted unto the world, the [[Hamatsii]]. [[Jotdäl]], a continent bitter and cold bore the [[Kallegari]]. Finally, [[The Desolate Continent]], once the home of the [[Human (Kamirell)|Humans]], is now an inhospitable terrain home only to the [[Dendregaar]], who brought this ruin unto the land.

The fifth continent, [[Matrellis]], is the northernmost continent, arctic in its northern reaches, but warmer and more temperate towards its south. Once home to the [[Eldarani]] and the [[Dendregaar]], now only the [[Eldarani]] call this place home.

Additionally, [[The Pantheon of Destruction]], despite what may be assumed from the name, is not viewed as evil, but rather the necessary counterpart to [[The Pantheon of Creation]].

There continues to be an active presence of magic, however the numbers of those proficient enough to have world-changing effects have dwindled in the modern age. Galenmir is ruled by monarchy, however it is split into three large provinces which are all ruled directly by the Overseers. The Overseers work under the employ of the monarch and handle the day-to-day management of their respective province.

Each of the provinces also has additional duties of the nation which are delegated to be managed by that provinces government.

The western province is responsible for managing all off-continent trade and military matters. The central continent is responsible for managing internal affairs as well as agriculture and intracontinental trade. The eastern province is responsible for the mining operations of the kingdom as well as the production of weapons, armors, plows and other equipment for the kingdom.

Due to its geography, almost all trade between the nations on [[Jotdäl]] goes through Galenmir. Additionally, even off-continent trade to any of the southern kingdoms travels through this kingdom.

Kandemir is capitol of one of the strongest empires in [[Kamirell]], alongside [[Keldaron]] and [[Rumellion Empire|Rumellion]]. That being said, it is the smallest of the three by far.

Despite having only three vassal states, making them the smallest of the major empire by far, their military is amongst the most skilled fighters in [[Kamirell]] and their elite guard are widely considered to be unmatched.

Kandemir is ruled by a monarchy. It also has a council of lords which handles most of the day-to-day the governance. The monarch's role is primarily to handle military matters, as well as to manage the co-ordinated governance of all of the empire's member states. The monarch does, however retain complete control and can overrule any decision made by the council of lords.

Kandemir has three vassals states: [[Unnamed Delphion 6]], [[Unnamed Delphion 2]] and [[Unnamed Draedunn 18]].

The majority of Kandemir is open tundra, with little ability to grow crops consistently. Because of this, they rely heavily on hunting and animal husbandry. They also import many different products which they cannot produce locally due to their climate through their neighbouring nation to their north, [[Galenmir]].

Kandemir docks its navy in the ports of [[Galenmir]], as it is extremely difficult to navigate the frozen waters of its southern coast.

Dedracor

Dedracor is the home of the [[Dendregaar]]. This is also the site of the entrance to the prison for [[The Great Beast]]. While most of the world has forgotten, the [[Dendregaar]] have bound their blood to the land in order to keep that cage closed. This process ravaged the land on [[The Desolate Continent]] which most of the world blames them for, without remembering the why they did what they did. In particular, a lot of [[Human (Kamirell)|Humans]] harbor resentment towards the residents of Dedracor as [[The Desolate Continent]] was the birthplace of [[Human (Kamirell)|Humans]], and they were forced to leave after the continent's landscape was ruined.

However given their length of their time there, they did advance somewhat since then as well.

The Rumellion Empire is one of the largest empires in [[Kamirell]]. It is one of the primary oppositions to the expansion of [[Keldaron]]'s empire. Specifically, Rumellion and its vassals offer safe haven to those trying to escape persecution from [[Keldaron]]'s royalty.

The Rumellion Empire is an absolute monarchy. It has been ruled by the same family line since it's inception. The throne is most often inherited by the youngest child, however there have been instances where a different heir has been named from among the children.

The empire acquires vassals and new territory primarily via diplomatic means, often providing military protection or economic stability in exchange for the loyalty of the vassal state. The majority of Rumellion vassals and colonies self-govern, but ultimately remain under the rule of Rumellion.

The Rumellion Empire is the oldest still active empire in [[Kamirell]].

Rumellion is one of the few nations which has a permanent political and military presence in [[Palidae]].

Rumellion is a large producer of textiles. They are also one of the few nations with economic power sufficient to challenge that of [[Palidae]]. However they do still have strong relations with the guilds of [[Palidae]], which results in benefits for both of them.

Western Pass

The Western Pass is the only pass along the western mountains. Is is one of the smaller passes, but it is often used for trade coming from [[Palidae]] which leaves its ports, and travels along the western coast of [[Draedunn]], rather than travelling entirely by land to [[Rendai's Pass]], which takes longer.

Smuggler's Pass

This small pass is used by smugglers and many other less savory traveller to pass through the mountains without possible detection at one of the six primary passes.

There is a small town built into the pass, and slightly up the mountains on either side where a black market flourishes. The location of this town and pass is not widely known.

Floodwater's Pass

This southern pass, during rainy seasons can become partially blocked by floodwaters combing down the mountains on either side due the the rivers backing up, giving it its name.

Here, each resident is bound to a particular location and forced to live out the pain and suffering they inflicted upon others. Over time, the residents become more and more entrenched in the location that they are bound to, slowly merging with their prison.

The lonely is the place where those who have wronged others, but only minor fashion, reside. The Lonely presents itself as a dark forest, as if in a total void. The trees appear dead, with no leaves, and are composed of what looks like shadowy black flames, through they do not burn.

Residents of The Lonely will occasionally come across one another, but the moment they split, there is no way to find one another again except for by chance. Residents of [[The Bliss (Kamirell Afterlife)|The Bliss]] can travel here freely, and find any resident they are looking for.

The Empty presents itself as a vast field of dead shrubs and dry grass, however most of the ground is simply dirt. Residents are strips of the majority of their humanity, being left as empty shells of their former selves. Those who committed grave trespasses, but also great deeds reside here.

When visited by a resident of [[The Kindness (Kamirell Afterlife)|The Kindness]], some of their humanity is able to return to them, whereas when visited by a resident of [[The Bliss (Kamirell Afterlife)|The Bliss]], they are fully restored to their former selves, for the duration of the visit.

This is where the majority of people end up. You don't need to have been a saint, or have only ever done good to get here. You can be with your loved ones and simply exist in peace. In the [[Kamirell]] afterlife you are not punished for not abiding my a specific set of precise morals, instead you are judged on your specific actions and so long as you did not consistently cause harm to others, then you need not fear punishment in the afterlife, instead you are delivered here, where you can spend eternity with those you love. All children are delivered to The Kindness, they are never sent to [[The Empty (Kamirell Afterlife)|The Empty]], [[The Lonely (Kamirell Afterlife)|The Lonely]] or [[The Shame (Kamirell Afterlife)|The Shame]]. There is nothing barring them from being delivered to [[The Bliss (Kamirell Afterlife)|The Bliss]], but it is nearly impossible for them to achieve the great deeds required to gain entry there in their short lives. Those who reside here can travel anywhere in the afterlife except [[The Bliss (Kamirell Afterlife)|The Bliss]].

The Afterlife is where mortals are delivered by [[The Reapers (Kamirell)|The Reapers]] after they die.

There are five regions within The Afterlife, two of them are pleasant, and three are forms of punishment.

[[The Kindness (Kamirell Afterlife)|The Kindness]] - This region is where most people end up. All children are always delivered here. In this place, those who have lived good lives can live together in peace.

[[The Bliss (Kamirell Afterlife)|The Bliss]] - This region is where those who have lived exceptional lives are delivered. Those who reside here, can travel freely to any other region, in particular [[The Kindness (Kamirell Afterlife)|The Kindness]].

[[The Empty (Kamirell Afterlife)|The Empty]] - This region is where the morally grey reside. They are stripped of the majority of their humanity, and it is replaced with a profound emptiness.

[[The Lonely (Kamirell Afterlife)|The Lonely]] - This region is where those with minor trespasses. When in [[The Lonely (Kamirell Afterlife)|The Lonely]], individuals are in complete isolation. They cannot perceive any other residents and region, and will spend eternity alone.

[[The Shame (Kamirell Afterlife)|The Shame]] - The region is where those who have committed major trespasses reside. Here, they are forced to experience all of the pain, anguish and sadness which they inflicted upon others.
