Despite being in the extreme colds of [[Matrellis]], the major cities of Eldracor are brought, magically, to a more temperate climate within the city boundaries. Smaller cities and villages, however, do not have these protections and live in [[Matrellis]]&amp;#039; natural climates.&lt;br /&gt;

Eldracor has had many different systems of government over many years. Eldracor is currently ruled by meritocracy and has been for the longest of any of it&amp;#039;s previous governmental structures.&lt;br /&gt;

Given that the [[Eldarani]] are immortal, many of those in leadership positions have held those positions for anywhere from a few years to over a hundred.&lt;br /&gt;

Eldracor does not have many strong international bonds, with the exception of [[Palidae]], which is the only place which Eldracor has an official, permanent presence.&lt;br /&gt;

Eldracor borders some of the only unclaimed land in all of [[Kamirell]]. On the large peninsula to it&amp;#039;s west, live the only remaining free roaming beasts. There are some [[Eldarani]] ranches in this area, which breed and heard some of these beasts, but otherwise the land is largely uninhabited. Eldracor considers it important for this land to remain the home of the beasts and ensures that no other nations settle there.&lt;br /&gt;

This society has the most advanced technology, reminiscent of gearpunk or a steampunk lite. There won&amp;#039;t be blimps, but there might be very basic use of electricity. Definitely lots of “mechanical wonders”. Technology from Eldracor is heavily prized around the world, as very few people are able to recreate it.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This is also one of the only places on [[Kamirell]] where some of the breasts, destroyed when [[The Age of Beasts]] ended still remain. Many of these beasts are docile, and are used by the [[Eldarani]] for transport, farming, defence and more. Some species are also simply kept as pets.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
While there are occasional residents who are not [[Eldarani]], these people are few and far between. Generally they only stay for short periods. The [[Eldarani]] do not discriminate against the mortal species, however living as a mortal in a society of immortals is difficult, and hence few people choose to do so.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The main reason mortals do go to live in Eldracor is for it&amp;#039;s universities. They have schools which focus on both research as well as education. Their society is primarily motivated by technological innovation. That being said, not every [[Eldarani]] is a genius, may do live simple lives a farmers, tradesmen, merchants, etc. However their lifespans do allow for them to accumulate far more knowledge than mortals, leading to their technological advancements.&lt;br /&gt;

Eldracor occupies the majority of [[Matrellis]]&amp;#039; north, with the remainder being unsettled land, home to some of the few remaining beasts.&lt;br /&gt;

[[Caledor]] is the main route through which people travel to reach Eldracor. While [[Caledor]] is a fairly insular state, they do allow for certain routes to be travelled freely by those trying to reach Eldracor.&lt;br /&gt;

Additionally, due to it&amp;#039;s proximity, many individuals from [[Caledor]] choose to study at the universities of Eldracor.&lt;br /&gt;
