The Korokon Republic of The People is a global superpower. It was formerly a powerful Empire, which has now retired its royal family after an insurrection where the family matriarch was assassinated. It was quickly overtaken by a highly authoritarian regime which locked down the country for decades, highly controlling the immigration and emigration tightly.
After the transition, a number of smaller states split off of Korokon along the west coast.
Korokon has cornered the market on cheap mass-production of electronics, transitioning from its forming hold on the textile industry as textile manufacturing became more competitive globally.
