Prettorrann is the neighbour of Palidae to it's North. It is the largest supplier of carrots and turnips in the Palidaean trading halls.

Prettorrann is ruled by absolute dictatorship. There is a chain of succession below the leader which is not appointed by the leader. Instead, when a leader dies or retires, the next in line takes over. Their position in then filled by the person behind them in the line of succession. At the end of this line, is an official who is actually elected by the people every three years. (still haven't figured out what the positions of all these people are yet)
International Policy
Despite being highly militaristic, Prettorrann does not frequently engage in major international conflicts. They do, however, maintain a military presence on all five continents, and across over a dozen countries.
Most notably, they are one of the only foreign powers to hold a permanent military presence in Palidae. However their fort near Palidae outside of the city and closer to it's own border.
Daily Life
Prettorrann is a highly militaristic country. It's military demands mandatory conscription into it's armed forces at the age of 25. While the majority of it's citizens are in reserve, and do not see conflict, however they do receive full training when they are 25/26. During their first year of training, they are only training part time, and are generally expected to work another job at the same time. When they turn 26, they enter a more intense, full time training program. At the end of their training, they may opt to enlist in active duty, or return to civilian life on reserve. However, they may be forcibly called to active duty at any time. Citizens are released from the hazard of being called to active duty when they turn 45, however they may willfully enlist in active duty any time there is a draft as long as they continue to be able bodied and sound of mind.
