The Dendregaar are an exceptionally isolated species. They live on The Desolate Continent. They cannot leave the continent, for if there is not a sufficient number of them who remain, the bond which they formed with the land at the end of The Age of Beasts, to imprison The Great Beast. However, thousands of years later, most of the world believe that they did something horrible which ruined the continent. Many humans blame them for destroying their homelands. This has lead to them often being treated extremely poorly, when an individual does venture out of the continent.
