A shell world set in a multi-star system. The planet itself is a shell surrounding a black hole. The shell has an Oreo cookie cream layer of magma.

The inside is mostly ocean, with stationary landmasses with holes through to the outside that let in the light of the stars. This light is reflected off of a hemispherical mirror orbiting the black hole, providing a day/night cycle to the inner world. In addition to the stationary landmasses, there are large and small islands that lift from the ocean during the night when the black hole is exposed and move. The floating islands form fluctuating archipelagos that follow repeated paths. The large islands' movements have been mapped, while the smaller islands (though having patterns, just more complicated ones) have not.

The outside of the shell has frozen poles and a burning equator, with only 2 bands habitable between the frozen and burning areas. The majority of the planet's exterior is uninhabited, with a few groups living in caves beneath the surface and resorting to piracy to survive.

Species to include:

  • Crab People
  • 6-Limbed Feathered
  • 6-Limbed Furred
  • 6-Limbed Scaled
