Korseko was once a small nation with little ambition of expansion, however after the fall of the Ceden Empire, the small but skilled military forces of Korseko rapidly overtook the land previously held by Ceden, leading to them holding a border which covered much of Astir. Today, their borders have receded significantly, and foreign interference in their government has resulted in a corrupt leadership which serves foreign powers.
The Democratic People's Republic of Korseko is a major producer of grains, root vegetables and stone fruits, among other crops. They provide the nations of the Northern States of Soventes, the North Cortez Republic and the Independant Republic of Cortez with a majority of its produce and grains, with them collectively importing for than 85% of these goods from Korseko and the Eastern Republic of Delpho.
