After the fall of the Skandevv Empire, significant infighting began. There became essentially two Skandevv empires each with their own internal conflicts. South Skandevv formed after a prominent dissident rallied the citizenry of the south and declared the lordship illegitimate. A civil war broke out, with the council of lords retreating to the north, where they held a border. Eventually, cooler heads prevailed and a treaty was drawn up between the now two nations of North Skandevv and South Skandevv.
