After the fall of the Skandevv Empire, significant infighting began. There became essentially two Skandevv empires each with their own internal conflicts. The portion of the Skandevv Empire south of the Northern Republic of Belranna became split by a large open bay. Two administrative districts were formed under a single central government in based in what is now West Skandevv. Over time, the culture of the two districts grew apart. Nearly 60 years ago, a referendum was held and the two districts split into West Skandevv and East Skandevv.
